Kyphoplasty
Using a needle, a balloon is positioned within the collapsed vertebrae, then the balloon is inflated, restoring the vertebrae to its desired shape and height. Finally, cement is injected into the cavity created by the balloon, solidifying the structure in a more stable position

Radiofrequency Ablation
An injection-like procedure that uses radio waves to heat and target (burn) a specific region of nerve tissue, blocking that nerve from sending pain signals to the brain

Platelet Rich Plasma Injections
A type of biologic therapy that can improve recovery or help in cases of injury. The patient’s own taken and the concentration of platelets is increased. These platelets contain growth factors and other elements such as cytokines that improve the process of healing.
Spinal Cord Stimulation
A type of medical implant that sends electrical pulses to the spinal cord. These impulses interrupt the sensations and “replaces” them with a sensation of light tingling. Although this is an implanted device, patients are able to control their levels of stimulation via remote, thus allowing them to adjust to their relative pain levels.
