TLIF, or Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion, is a surgical procedure used to treat various conditions affecting the lumbar spine, such as degenerative disc disease, spinal instability, or herniated discs. The goal of TLIF is to relieve pain and stabilize the spine by fusing two or more vertebrae together.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

During ACDF, the surgeon makes an incision in the front of the neck and carefully removes the problematic intervertebral disc. After decompression, a bone graft or interbody spacer is inserted into the empty disc space to facilitate fusion between the adjacent vertebrae.
