The woman here and the Dr. Eric Lin who I seen were great! The facility was very clean and it was peaceful quiet wait. And they have WiFi if you need it so good to find a good office like this.
The first time I went to Dr. Eric Linn, at Align Spine, he recommended surgery for my Spine and said there was a lot of damage. He showed me the x-rays and described the problems. I was in lots of pain, a number 10 (when 10 is the worst, and 1 is the least).I didn't want the surgery, I wanted to wait and see if the pain would lessen over time. I thought, I could handle the pain, Dr. Linn said "I don't think so," but I tried to handle the pain, anyway. Two weeks later, I was back at his office and ready for back surgery. Just before surgery Dr. Linn said to me your going to feel mush better after surgery. He was 100% right, my pain was much less after surgery and soon I was a 1 or 2. And it feels great today 2 months after surgery.
I had a massive L5-S1 herniation that had me in 10/10 pain. I was on Medi-Cal insurance at the time and really worried that I wouldn't be able to receive treatment. I had even been refused treatment at HOAG emergency. When I showed up at Align Spine, the assistants helped me fill out the paperwork and they got me a rush-order MRI. Dr. Lin explained my situation and different treatment options including non-surgical ones (which I thought was extremely professional). I opted in for surgery and his team pushed through all the paperwork with my insurance. Surgery went well and recovery has been going smoothly despite lots of pain and discomfort at times (all of which was expected and explained to me). After 6 months of recovery I felt "well enough" to sail across the Atlantic ocean to deliver a catamaran. Getting back to my normal life brought me tears of joy after having been nearly paralyzed. I even called the team at align spine when I was in the Azores to thank them for everything they had done.
If you are considering surgery, I highly recommend this team.
P.S. On a more personal note - I was fearful that my life would never be the same after this herniation. I'm only 8 months post-op but with regular strength training and diligent corrections to posture you can live a normal and active life again. I've sailed across an ocean, gone backcountry hiking in the Swiss alps and accomplished lots of home improvement projects. Some days are good. Some days are not so good but the path to recovery exists and you can walk it back to health. Hang in there and don't lose hope!
Dr Ali Raeed his staff and group of PA and NP are the best. I have had issues with my feet and legs going numb from a fall I took in January and tried everything before surgery, pain management , Chiropractors, Acupuncture and massage. Nothing worked. The Dr diagnosed my issue immediately which was a compressed L4 and L5, scheduled and did the surgery and I am now cured. I was up and going the same day after surgery with zero issues.
I would recommend this Dr and Staff to everyone interested in a excellent outcomes.
